Update July 2025: African Great Lakes Peace Trust trustees have discerned it’s time to lay down the charity. We welcome final donations till 31 August and will then divide remaining funds between two trusted projects in Rwanda and Uganda. Thank you for your support.

We are a UK-based charity that supports peacebuilding work in Burundi, DRC, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
Our funding comes from donations, and contributions from anyone who would like to support this work are very welcome.
We make grants for peacebuilding initiatives and for travel in support of them, working closely with our partners in the Great Lakes region.
